I’m Syd Hastings and I’m a poet and spoken word artist.

My writing is very versatile and relatable, ranging from fun humourous stuff, to urban observation and nostalgia, with a bit of philosophy and love thrown in. You can read a selection of my poems on this website, or enjoy watching me perform.

I have spoken at many events throughout the country, sharing my poetry with a wide range of audiences. I am passionate about the craft and love making people smile and touching hearts with my words.
